Early Life

On the pleasant day of September 8, 1999, a bright star was born in the charming town of Fazilka, nestled in the heart of Punjab. This young talent was none other than Shubhman Gill, whose arrival brought joy and excitement to his family and would soon dazzle the world of cricket with his extraordinary skills. 

His family was the owner of some farmland. Lakhwinder Singh, a farmer, has always wanted to play cricket but was unable to realize his goal. He made the choice to develop Gill into a powerful cricket player instead. Early on, he recognized his son's cricket aptitude and was eager to help him develop it. Before entering the Punjab Cricket Association Academy, Gill first received coaching from his school.

On his Punjab Under-16 state debut, he recorded an unblemished double century in the Vijay Merchant Trophy. He amassed 351 runs in the Punjab Inter-District Under-16 competition in 2014, and he and Nirmal Singh shared the opening stand record with 587 runs.

International Career of Shubhman Gill

In a series played in February 2017, Shubhman Gill was a member of the Indian Under-19 side that triumphed over England Under-19. He was proud to have the position of vice-captain for the Indian squad at the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup thanks to his talent.
